Dr. Ethem Akkol, born in 1966 in the Nazilli district of Aydın, completed his high school education at Denizli High School and subsequently graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. After graduation, he fulfilled his compulsory medical service in the Çıldır district of Ardahan Province.

Following his medical education, he continued his professional development internationally. He worked as a trainee physician at Berlin Zehlendorf Hospital in Germany, where he completed his initial training in Radiology. He continued his radiology education within Humboldt University and, from 2002 onward, pursued his professional career at the Freyung-Passau Radiology Clinic. He returned to Türkiye in 2005.

During his time in Germany, he actively served within the Berlin Association of Turkish Health Professionals. He also founded the Turkish Diabetics Self-Help Group and the Turkish Stutterers Self-Help Group, making significant social and medical contributions to public health through these initiatives.

After returning to Türkiye, he worked at Esenler Hayat Hospital, Yaşam Hospital, Araf Surgical Medical Center, Eslife Hospital, and Yaman Surgical Medical Center, respectively. For the past three years, he has been serving as the Medical Director and Chief Physician at Elit Medical Center.

His current professional interests and fields of practice include;
Ozone Therapy, Medical Aesthetics, Acupuncture, Mesotherapy, and Hair Transplantation.

He particularly provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients from both Türkiye and abroad in the fields of autoimmune diseases, diabetes mellitus, hepatic steatosis (fatty liver disease), and hypertension.
